Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis

Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis is a beautiful, low-growing plant from South America. Although it can grow very compact, a carpet or lawn effect (4-7 cm tall) is only achieved at a high light intensity. Thus, if planning to use this plant for a carpet effect, it is important to remember to ensure adequate lighting to obtain the desired results.

Ideally, this plant should be placed in an open position within the aquarium where it will have direct light and be without shading from other plants. Also of particular note, Lilaeopsis brasiliensis tolerates low salt concentrations and, as such, can be used in brackish aquariums.
